I leave you with this Jewish proverb I heard in synagogue this morning, and ask you to think a moment of what it might mean for you personally, culturally, communally, even spiritually:
“It may not be you who finishes the work, but this does not mean you should desist from starting it.”
As a species of course, it often seems as if such work is just beginning.
